We only use cookies from Google Analytics. Google places an analytical cookie so that we can analyse whether our website gives an optimal user experience by collecting your (partial) IP-address, information on your activity on the website, your internet browser and general visitor information (location). The information obtained is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States of America. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this matter. We have taken steps to safeguard your privacy: we have agreed a data processing agreement with Google and the last numbers of your IP address have been masked. Furthermore, we don’t allow Google to use the obtained information for other Google services.

_utma Used to distinguish users and sessions. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utma cookies exists. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics – 2 years from set/update
_utmz Stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how the user reached your site. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics – 6 months from set/update
_utmb Used to determine new sessions/visits. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utmb cookies exists. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics – 30 mins from set/update
_utmc Set for interoperability with urchin.js. Historically, this cookie operated in conjunction with the __utmb cookie to determine whether the user was in a new session/visit – End of browser session
_utmt Used to throttle request rate. 10 minutes
_utmv Used to store visitor-level custom variable data. 2 years from set/update
If you do not want cookies, it is possible to set your internet browser so that you are warned when a cookie is placed or even prevent cookies from being placed. The result is that you may not be able to use all parts of the websites you visit, or not optimally.
